The Palace and Park Complex in Witosław is situated on Lake Witosławskie in the Osieczna commune, county of Leszno in the province of Wielkopolska, between Poznań and Wrocław.

The complex consists of the 19th-century Palace, Kuźnia (Smithy) – a renovated historical building adapted for the disabled which is located near the palace and the Stable. The whole complex is situated in a six-hectare park with exceptionally beautiful trees.

The Centre in Witosław uses two well-known methods: apitherapy (prevention and treatment using honey bee products) and phytotherapy (prevention and treatment using herbs), which when combined (apiphytotherapy) give much better preventative and therapeutic effects than each treatment administered separately.

In the Centre we also use the therapeutic uses of bee venom (apitoxinotherapy) in the treatment of the nervous, muscle and mental system.

In the historical park there is the apiary which provides honey bee products, and the organic garden with herbs and vegetables that are used for preparing healthy meals and individual therapies with the use of herbs, honey, propolis, wax, venom, royal jelly and vegetables.

These products are also basis for various health and treatment mixtures made in the laboratory situated in the Centre. They are also used in the Wytwórnia Leków Naturalnych (Natural Medicines Factory) to produce diet supplements on basis of natural ingredients extracted from the apiary – Apipropol R propolis drops, natural syrup Apiczos, and the delicious Miodówka Witosławska which is a 40% vodka made according to old Polish traditional recipes on basis of honey and water with fruit, herbal and resin extracts. •  Prywatny Dom Pomocy Społecznej (PDPS – Private Social Welfare House) – www.domypomocy.pl On basis of the regulation of the Minister of Social Policy of 28th April 2005 Prywatny Dom Pomocy Społecznej received the permission from the Wielkopolska Voivode (PS.II-11.70 14-1-1/07) to run a Centre providing full care services to the elderly and the disabled.

•  Ośrodek Apifitoterapii (Apiphytotherapy Centre) – on basis of art.10d section 1 of the Act of 27th August 1997 on social and vocational rehabilitation and employment of the disabled, on 18.12.2006 the Centre was registered as a resort that can provide rehabilitation services (PS.IV-5.90401-3/06). Therefore, it is entitled to accept groups of the disabled.

The well-equipped restaurant whose menu consists of a wide range of dishes rich in nutritious ingredients caters for individual as well as organized groups’ needs. The kitchen staff make sure that the PDPS residents as well as patients undergoing treatment are provided with appropriate diet consisting of honey and herb dishes based on vegetables from our organic garden.

The Centre can accommodate 52 guests in 23 well-furnished single or double rooms as well as apartments for three persons and a family room for five people. All rooms are equipped with a telephone, satellite TV and bathrooms.

The newly-constructed building , “KUŹNIA” (SMITHY) situated close to the Palace can accommodate 17 PDPS residents; it is fully adapted to the needs of the disabled for short-term as well as long-term stays. We offer comfortable single and double rooms with a bathroom, TV, telephone and signal system. The centre has a fully-equipped conference hall, café (mead bar) and summer café close to the Palace.

We recommend a beautifully stylish Stable built in harmony with the surroundings. The Stable houses ponies for children as well as horses so you can enjoy horseback trips along numerous tourist trails that lead through picturesque woods and along lakes in the beautiful Leszno region.

In winter you can enjoy sleighing and take part in special sleighing parties.

Children can enjoy pony rides and the playground. Older visitors can ride on horseback in a hippodrome situated in the Centre. In summer you can spend time at the beach adjoining the park. We ensure comfortable conditions for swimming and sunbathing as well as water sports equipment (boats, canoes, water bikes). If you enjoy outdoor sports you can play volleyball, basketball or tennis. Anglers can take advantage of the “special fishery” and cycling enthusiasts can ride along numerous bicycle trails.

You can also have fun in our recreational rooms (bridge salon, fire-place room, billiards hall, ballroom with a piano, café-bar).

You can also relax in our Wellness Centre with classical massage as well as “Cerag” – a modern massage bed, fitness gym and sauna.

The centre can also organize “bonfire feasts” in a beautiful part of the park on the lake (the 200m2 area is roofed) furnished with tables and food and alcohol bar. It is excellent for organizing small parties as well as big events for up to 100 people.

The abundance of nature surrounding the Palace, numerous paths provide ideal conditions for tourists wishing to relax and accumulate life energy. It is possible to organize holidays with honey bee products and herbal therapy, special events and parties (christenings, weddings, anniversaries, first communions), bonfire parties, training courses, integration meetings for companies, balls and other parties (New Year’s Eve, picnics).
